After decades of denial, Jared is finally ready to admit the truth: he lived to annoy Audrey.
Well, maybe not lived to, exactly. But annoying her was a large part of his life.
Every day he constantly pushed and peddled his nonsense — like all of the nonsense described in this very library — upon her, whether she liked it or not. Wacky words, inside jokes, little games... Jared couldn't help but force Audrey to participate in it, around the clock. He was insatiable. She would only join in when she felt like it.
As one might expect, the two of them would often fight about this. Audrey would constantly complain about Jared annoying her, to which Memo simply advised her to ignore him. This did not work, and beyond that, there was seemingly no other solution.
If Jared sensed Audrey was ignoring him or otherwise uninterested in play, he would double down and annoy her even more. On the off chance he was punished for this behavior, he threw a tantrum.
While he may not “live” to annoy Audrey anymore, talking to her about all of this nonsense is still a top priority in his life. And it always will be. ❐
