This was all mostly Jared

It might already be clear from reading the entries themselves, but all of this was mostly Jared.

The jokes, the observations, the little games, the made-up words, the fake companies, the nicknames for random people, the stupid behavior and pointless activities, as well as remembering it all... all of it is from the vexing, unhinged, traumatized mind of Jared.

Audrey may have been his audience as well as an occasional, unwilling participant. But in order to not besmirch her good name, it should not be inferred that she was responsible for anything written about unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Through the years, Jared assumed that everyone else in his life remembered all of these stories just like he did; if anything, they just didn't feel the need to bring them up. But actually, Jared is the only one who remembers most of any of these people's lives. They are surprised by just how much he remembers just as much as he is surprised by how little they do.

There are hundreds and hundreds of Gair Family Library entries still to come, and writing them will all fall on the shoulders of JARED.  ❐
